What I like about Danial Jiwani s book [Buffett s] 2-Step stock Market Strategy is... he focuses on [the] fundamentals of buying a good company for long term and make profit. He does not go and tell you here is the list of stocks that you should go and buy instead he recommends ways to select good companies to invest. He is not giving you free fish he is teaching you how to fish

After he discusses the characteristic of a good company, he further advices (sic) on how to read the financial report and figure out if the company is financially healthy. Once you select a company with good characteristic[s] and a healthy financial report next he shows how to calculate the best price for the stock. He ends the book, going through when is the right time to sell the stock... He has covered so many items that I learned in graduate school but he explained it in such a simple way that even a high school kid can understand

This book is recommended for anyone who wants to learn how to buy a good company and for a good price. This is the book that you should read and re-read until you are clear of all the fundamental items covered in this book. Once you have a grasp of [the] basic foundation that he covered in this book, reading any other investment book and learning other investment strategies will be much easier. [An] Investment book like his book should be used in High School business class or even undergraduate business class.

[Buffett s] 2-Step Stock Market Strategy is an excellent introductory stock investing book written by Danial Jiwani...This book provides a two-step framework to pick stocks that would outperform the market. His framework is based on the theory and ideas of Warren Buffett [and] value investing. The author has done extensive research and is very familiar with the writings of Warren Buffett

He defines four characteristics of a good business and goes into the details[s] of how to look for these characteristics. The author also discusses the importance of financial statements and the parts of financial statements that the investor should focus on

The author goes into great detail of what is intrinsic value and how to calculate it. The author shows how an investor can use the financial statement and Yahoo Finance page to come up with the intrinsic value of the stock

This is an excellent book for any investor who wants to learn about value investing and the philosophy that Warren Buffet uses to invest in stocks. I would highly recommend it.
